However, the cost of an Arbella auto insurance policy will vary based on factors like your driving history, vehicle type, and location. To get the most accurate pricing, it’s best to request a personalized quote.
Like with any other insurance company, your auto insurance cost will vary based on your age, location among other factors.

Other Insurance Products from Arbella Insurance Group
Arbella Insurance Group offers a variety of insurance products beyond auto coverage, some of which are available in multiple states. If you’re interested in bundling policies to save on premiums, Arbella could be a good fit. However, since their auto insurance is only available in two states, it may not be ideal if you plan to move out of state soon.
- Homeowners Insurance: Includes options for homeowners, renters, condo owners, and landlords, tailored to different needs.
- Umbrella Insurance: Adds an extra layer of protection to your home or auto policy for broader coverage.
- Business Insurance: Offers a range of coverage for business owners, including business car and truck insurance, workers’ compensation, and commercial umbrella insurance.
- Motorcycle Insurance: Covers personal injury, comprehensive damage, towing, labor, and provides a substitute vehicle in case of an accident.
Arbella Insurance Reviews
Arbella is known for good customer service. According to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), the company has received fewer complaints than the median for insurers of its size, which is a key consideration for many policyholders.
However, Arbella’s Yelp reviews tell a different story, with an average rating of just 1.5 stars out of 5 based on 134 reviews. It’s worth keeping in mind that most customers interact with their insurance provider during stressful times, like after an accident, which may influence their feedback. In fact, low ratings are common across the insurance industry, with the highest typically around 2.5 stars.
Despite this, Arbella holds an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB), where it’s been accredited since 2009, although customer reviews on the BBB site also average just over one star. It also holds a financial strength rating of A- (excellent) from A.M. Best.

I was in an accident that was ruled 100% NOT my fault. My agent seemed annoyed every time I reached out to her. They then dropped my coverage. Terrible service.
Beware of Arbella Insurance – A Nightmare Unveiled.
Engaging with Arbella Insurance turned out to be a regrettable decision. Their deceitful practices and what felt like a calculated effort to manipulate complex documents resulted in a direct loss of $300 from my end.
To make matters worse, my attempts to seek resolution hit a brick wall. Arbella’s customer service demonstrated an astonishing lack of empathy and accountability, leaving me with unresolved issues and a profound sense of betrayal.
In the light of my ordeal, I strongly caution anyone considering Arbella Insurance to think twice. This company seems more interested in taking advantage of customers than providing genuine support. Save yourself the trouble and explore alternative insurance options.
This company is EVIL and they only care about MONEY!
Tanya, from Arbella customer service reached out to me about my policy. She helped resolve the issue. she took the time to explain everything and made sure I was happy with everything. I think if you get the right person to listen to you they will help you. in my case I got Tanya who helped me.
I want to let others know Arbella did help me.
Saw a lot of negative reviews, so I needed to put in my two cents.
I’m a fan; good service and friendly reps.
Someone stopped in the middle of an intersection and we collided; Arbella took care of me and responded quickly. Other driver attempted to file a bogus medical claim (we were going perhaps 5-10mph), and Arbella resolved the situation. (yes that’s their job and I’m paying them to do so, but you’d be surprised how that doesn’t matter to some other insurance companies).
I stick with them because they’ve done a very good job for me, and I’ve not had a very good experience with other insurance companies in the past. Their rates are ~5% more than my last company, but their service is so much better it’s not even a fair comparison.
My insurance is paid up months ahead and they just sent me a letter for no renewal. I never had any claims for the years that I’ve been with them. And I’ve been on auto pay since the beginning. Not worth it. Go to a bigger company to have peace of mind.
I have been very pleased with Arbella since first purchasing through them 9 years ago. I use the website to pay bills, view statements, and contact the company. It is very well designed and extremely easy to use. I have only needed to contact the company by phone a few times but every time the people I spoke with were very friendly, polite and helpful. I will continue to use Arbella as my Auto insurance company in the future.
Arbella Auto Insurance: Our Verdict
We rate Arbella at 3.0 out of 5 stars overall. The regional insurer excels particularly in reliability and cost.
For drivers seeking a state-specific insurance experience and prefer interacting with their agent rather than managing their policy online, Arbella auto insurance is an excellent option. With a wide range of discounts and coverage choices, Arbella also boasts strong customer satisfaction ratings.
If you value working with local businesses, Arbella might be a better choice compared to a large, national insurer. When you request a quote, you’ll interact with a local, independent insurance agent, offering a more personalized experience than an online quote system. However, if you prefer the ease of obtaining a quote online or if you reside outside Arbella’s service areas, their car insurance might not be the best fit for you.
