t’s pretty reasonable insurance till you need a claim and they don’t want to cover anything. 2 Roofers said I had hail damage, and they said I didn’t. No customer service at all. The minute you challenge their decision they get mean.

I have 3 types of insurance coverage with TFBI, auto, homeowners, and “inland marine coverage” which insures farm equipment. The rates and communication with the local office are very good, and an auto claim I had a number of years back went well, no complaints there. However, I recently filed a claim on the inland marine policy where 2 pieces of covered farm equipment were damaged and out of service. I filed the claim with the local office. They told me an adjuster would be contacting me within a day or two. A week later there had been no contact so I called them back. They gave me the adjuster’s phone number and I called him. I got a recorded message on a Friday that he was out of the office and would return Monday, and to leave a message.

They were good and helpful. They provided me information what was needed. Their policy were convenient to me.

I have been with Texas Farm Bureau for more than a decade. I am very happy with the service and the coverage. Never had any step price increases like my former Insurance Company did and made me switch to Texas Farm Bureau. I had hail damage one time and that was handled very quickly and to my full satisfaction. Both the house and a couple of cars got damaged. I will probably stay with them for life, unless something drastic would happen. But I do not see that happen with Texas Farm Bureau. They are solid and reliable and conservative approach and stand.
